The Clark College Bookstore accepts the following payment methods in the bookstore.
Cash - in store only.
Checks- in store only.
Student must present current Clark College student ID or proof of enrollment (Current term schedule with printed SID #) accompanied by matching photo ID. Check must be for exact amount of purchase only, no cash may be given back. Checks are made payable to Clark College Bookstore.
Credit/Debit Card - in store or on-line.
The Bookstore accepts Visa, MasterCard and Discover credit cards and debit cards with hologram. Students must present a matching valid ID to pay by credit card in store. For online orders, "bill to" address must match the card's billing address for approval.
Gift Card - in store only.
We require that you provide a first and last name for all orders.
Substitutions of New, Used, Rental Books and Associated Costs
Though USED and NEW may be listed as an option on the web site as you place your order, if your preferred choice is not available at the time your order is pulled, we will automatically make a substitution for what is available and make note of the substitution on your final receipt. Please be aware that substitutions will affect the final amount charged to your credit card. Be prepared for these possible price differences when you are placing your order. No additional notice will be provided for substitutions.
Although you are required to provide us with credit card information when you place your order, your credit card will not be charged until the books have been pulled and processed.
Textbook "Mail Orders"
Important Note - "Mail Orders" will not be held in-store but instead will be shipped.
Textbook "Mail Orders" take up to 2 business days to process and an additional 2 - 5 business days for delivery via UPS ground. We do not ship on weekends, academic holidays or designated college closure days.
Please provide a street address for shipping as UPS will not deliver to P.O. Box addresses.
The Bookstore refund policy applies to on-line orders. Freight charges are non-refundable.
Reservations will not be shipped but instead will be held in the store for a limited time (see below). Please allow 2 business days before you come to the bookstore cashier counter to pick up and pay for your books.
Reservation service is turned off three days prior to the start of each quarter.
All reservations must be picked up by the last business day prior to the start of the new quarter.
Although we do ask for your credit card information at the time you place your reservation, your credit card will not be charged unless you do not pick up or cancel your reservation within the time allowed. If your reservation is not picked up or cancelled a $10.00 fee will be charged to the credit card that was submitted with your order.
You may call or email email@example.com at any time to cancel your reservation.
Textbook orders are delivered via UPS Ground. UPS recommends allowing 2-5 business days for delivery. Shipping charges: $6.95 for first item, $2.00 each additional. Freight charges are non-refundable.
If you find that you are unable to login to the website or are caught in a login loop these steps might help you resolve the issues you're having.
- If you are using Internet Explorer as your browser, try an alternate such as Firefox or Chrome or other
- Ensure you are using the most current version of your browser
- Adjust your cookies/internet security settings to their lowest
- Ensure you are not accessing the site from a cached web page
- Lastly, if you have the option, see if you can access from an alternate computer and if you have success it can be narrowed down to a specific system

The Clark College Bookstore provides hold services to allow students to shop early, select textbooks needed, hold them and pay later! This gives Clark Students the opportunity to get the best savings.
Standard In-Store Hold
- $10 deposit
- Pick Up dealine is the last business day before the quarter begins.
- - $10 In store deposit applied to purchases at pick up
- - Online reservations not picked up by deadline may incur a $10 fee on their credit card.
Financial Aid Extended Hold
This service extends the pick up deadline of the Standard Hold Service for Financial Aid students. This extension is not applied automatically and must be initiated by the student and processed in store only
- Award Letter and ID required
- Pickup deadline is the Tuesday of the first week of the quarter.
Original receipt and valid photo ID are required for all refunds and exchanges.
All course materials purchased or rented for a new quarter must be returned by the 10th business day of the start of the same college quarter; items rented after this date are non-refundable.
Textbooks purchased the 5th business day or later, from the start of the current college quarter, and all other store items, must be returned within 3 business days of purchase.
All merchandise must be in new/original condition; unused, unopened, unworn with tags attached and packaging intact, free of marks, eraser marks, page, and/or cover bends, liquid damage etc.
Computer hardware, photo developing supplies and permanently reduced merchandise sales are final and may not be returned or exchanged.
Defective items should be returned immediately for replacement.
Refunds will be processed via the same method of original payment.
Refunds originally paid by check, exceeding $200.00, will be processed and mailed within four weeks after payment date.
Shipping charges on web orders are non-refundable.

Original mail order receipt must accompany mail order returns. Verify that contact information on your mail order receipt is included and accurate to expedite processing. Original and return shipping charges will not be refunded.
Rental Returns - End of Term
Returning your rentals is easy with two convenient options. You can return your rental(s) in person at the bookstore, or send a trusted friend of family member.
If you prefer to ship your rental(s) back to the store, be sure to do so by the return deadline, no later than 4:00pm the Friday of Finals Week. Rentals that do not meet this deadline will be billed replacement price(s) to the guarantee tender credit card used at time of rental, per Rental Agreement Terms. So don't be late sending your rentals back or bringing the rental(s) to the bookstore to guarantee you meet the deadline! We recommend UPS or FedEx for tracking services and don't forget to consider insurance.

Finding Your Books
The booklist for each new quarter usually comes out four weeks before the start of the new quarter. Once the booklist is out the most efficient way to find your books is to have a copy of your current schedule, you will receive a copy of your schedule when you register or you can print one off HERE. Your schedule provides the course prefix, the course number, and section numbers you will need for each class.
It will look similar to this:

First, DIV (MATH) is the class prefix which specifies the department to look in, the NUM (113) identifies is the course number in the department and finally the ITEM (3201) identifies the specific class requirements as provided by the instructor.
You can shop at the Bookstore, on the main campus, or online for Reservations and Web Orders. Web Orders are shipped to your address, Reservations are held in the bookstore up to the last business day prior to the quarter start.
